It's a triple chocolate mousse cake infused with a coffee liqueur syrup. Yes the D's in "did" are turned the wrong way but it was 3am by the time I did the lettering and I just didn't have it in me to do it again lol

Sponge Bob is her favorite childhood cartoon and it got her through some really difficult times in college!

Been having issues with my oven for a few months so haven't baked since last year, so pretty pleased with how this turned out!!! Also figured out a way to make butter/dairy free frosting! It was a bit hard to pipe with, so in hindsight should have frosted it immediately or softened it a bit!

Showcase (No-Recipe) Lesbian flag jam sugar cookies

A friend of mine gifted me their old PS4, so as thanks I offered to bake them something! I decided on lesbian flag cookies and was inspired lavbakes' pride themed bakes in this sub, and as a queer person myself during pride month, thought it felt appropriate.

Sugar cookie recipe is based on this base recipe from Butternut Bakery Blog:

https://butternutbakeryblog.com/chewy-sugar-cookies/

I doubled the recipe and then split the wet ingredients into four bowls and just changed the extract flavors; I ended up doing vanilla, orange, strawberry rose, and raspberry. Then I ended up scooping alternating colors with swirls of raspberry and strawberry rhubarb jam before scooping. They came out gorgeous and tasted just like rainbow sherbet!

My partner is in hospital so I've had to make my dad's cake in stages. The "ice creams" are piped and baked meringue. There is a vanilla buttercream filling.

Every year on the anniversary of my 1st attempt I make a “you made it through another year” cake, and this year I decided to make a lemon cheesecake. It’s very good :)
